When people look at a property they try to visualise how it will fit their lifestyle. So the more you can help them to do that, the better.
“This breakfast nook is the perfect sunny spot to curl up with a book on Sunday....” or “the popular café just a block away is the ideal retreat after a brisk winter walk”.
Emotion is the most powerful tool you have when it comes to making prospective buyers engage with a property, so put it to work for you by helping them to visualise. Video is ideal for painting pictures in a buyer’s mind, but it can also be achieved with well-written text.
Just remember – don’t fall into the trap of overdoing it. Find one or two special things and make them sing, but don’t cross the line into lots of unrelated waffle.
